Dec. 3rd was the first event of our month. We usually let the kids have their first "friend" birthday party at age 5, because they usually have some actual friends at this point, because of preschool and such. So, believe it or not Breanna turned 5 and was able to have a party. She chose to have a "Pinkalicious" theme. I was so excited. For those of you who haven't read that story, you need to. Brea loves it. So, decorations and cake were super easy this year.
She actually turned 5 on Saturday the 4th, and we celebrated by going to lunch and to the ward Christmas party. So here's a mix of birthday and ward party pics. We just about missed Vance on Santa's lap because the crazy kid practically ran to see him and was #2 in line. I'm not that quick these days, but I managed to snap one from the doorway. Brea is still not a big fan of Santa, but at least stood right beside him all by herself, and with no tears this year. Brigham was not such a fan either of the big man in red, but he LOVED the candy cane he recieved so he looked at him just long enough to get it. (as long as dad held on to him tightly.)
